Getting Started
How do I clock in?
Simply tap and hold the "Punch" button on the home screen. The button will fill up as you hold it, and your clock-in time will be logged when complete. You can also use the Control Center widget for instant punch logging without opening the app.
How do I clock out?
Tap and hold the "Punch" button again after you've clocked in. The app automatically determines whether to log a clock-in or clock-out time based on your current shift status.
What is the recommended out time?
Once you've clocked in, Horario automatically calculates when you should clock out based on your selected shift duration (e.g., 6 hours 45 minutes). This helps you plan your day and know exactly when your shift will end.

Privacy & Data
Where is my data stored?
All your shift data is stored locally on your device only. Horario does not send any information to external servers. Your data is completely private and under your control. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Does Horario work offline?
Yes! Horario is designed to work completely offline. No internet connection is required to clock in, clock out, or view your history.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual shift records by swiping left in the History view. To completely remove all data, simply delete the Horario app from your device. Since data is stored locally, deleting the app permanently removes all shift records.
Troubleshooting
The punch button isn't working
Make sure you're holding the button long enough (about 2 seconds). The circular progress indicator should fill completely before the punch is logged. This hold-to-confirm design prevents accidental punches.
My Control Center widget isn't showing up
The Control Center widget requires iOS 18 or later. If you have iOS 18+:
- Make sure the app is installed and has been opened at least once
- Open Control Center and tap "Edit Controls"
- Look for "Quick Punch" in the available controls
- Restart your device if the widget still doesn't appear
I accidentally logged the wrong time
Currently, you can delete incorrect records from your History view. To prevent future mistakes, use the hold-to-confirm feature on the punch button, which gives you time to cancel if needed.
"Quick Punch" doesn't work with Siri
If Siri isn't recognizing the Quick Punch command, try these steps:
- Check Siri is enabled: Settings → Siri & Search → Listen for "Hey Siri"
- Enable Horario for Siri: Settings → Siri & Search → Horario → Use with Siri
- Make sure Horario has been opened at least once after installation
- Try saying "Quick Punch" clearly and slowly
- Restart your device and try again
Quick Punch shortcut not working
If the Shortcuts action isn't appearing or working:
- Make sure Horario is installed and has been opened at least once
- Open the Shortcuts app and search for "Horario" in Add Action
- If not found, delete and reinstall Horario
- Make sure your iOS is up to date
- Re-create the shortcut from scratch
The app isn't calculating duration correctly
Make sure both your clock-in and clock-out times are logged for the same day. The duration is calculated based on the time difference between these two punches. If times cross midnight, they may need to be logged as separate shifts.
